Basic Controls

There are two controllable characters in the game, one is Upin and the other being Ipin. In single-player, you may only control one at a time. You will always start with Upin by default.

Switch your character as you please by pressing the corresponding button for it (Refer to Game controls)

In co-op mode, Player 1 will be Upin while Player 2 will be Ipin.

Movement

Players can walk or sprint in the game, in single-player, the other character will follow from behind according to your walking speed.

Other actions include jumping and double jumping.

What if You're Stuck

If you ever find yourself accidentally stuck under terrain, or you're in a tight spot and not sure how to get out, you can press the unstuck button. Which teleports you to your other twin.

Interaction

Any collectible objects within the game will have a green, blue, gold or purple glow effect on it. You can interact to pick up and store these items.

Other objects such as the bike, soccer balls and bat sticks can also be picked up, but you hold these objects on your hand to move or use.

Minigames

There are a ton of minigames in Upin and Ipin Universe, including cooking, fishing, spinning tops and RC Car racing. They work on the basic mechanics of the game, you can refer to the tutorial that will be shown in-game as well.

Quests

Interact with characters within the game to trigger a quest, it could be a main or side quest depending on multiple varieties. This comes with a dialogue that requires the player to click/press to proceed.
